Ann's version of Chicken Cordon Blue

Raw Chicken cut thin and pounded out
Mrs. Dash's Tomato Basil Garlic seasoning
Cooked bacon, not to the super crispy point...just before (we use Turkey Bacon)
Shredded Parmesano, Reggiano, Asiago Cheese (it is in a container by all the cheeses)
Fresh Basil, chopped up a bit
Tomatoes, sliced
Swiss cheese to top each roll

I know this looks like a lot but it is pretty darn easy to put together and the flavor is incredible. You can buy thin sliced chicken at the store and it makes this whole thing...as easy as can be. But if not, slice a chicken breast in half like you are cutting a roll open, then pound out the pieces so that they are even and fairly thin, like 1/4 in. Then sprinkle some salt and pepper and Mrs. Dash's Tomato Basil Garlic seasoning. Place your bacon on the seasoning, usually it is about one strip per roll. Then add a good amount of the Shredded Parmesano tri-blend cheese on the bacon, I would estimate 2 T. Then add about a 1/2 T of chopped up fresh basil. Holding it all together, roll that up and put on a sprayed pan to go in the oven. Continue that process and when all the rolls are on the baking sheet, spray the top of the chicken with Pam, a tiny bit of the Mrs. Dash seasoning, place 1/2 of a bacon strip (cooked) on top with a sliced tomato on top of that and finally topped with a slice of swiss cheese! I cook it at 350 with tin foil over it to keep the chicken moist, and the last 7 min I will take it off to let the cheese melt and get golden. I cook it for 45 min.
Add whatever you think would taste good or more of what you like.
I serve it with Rice-a-Roni's Parmesano blend rice. SUPER good combo!
